Strawberries.

We love Strawberries. Before crossing the channel, we were eating fruit from Lincolnshire and Scotland; both were totally delicious.

Here they are grown more locally, some even in our own 'abandoned' garden; Haddock's. I have to search around beneath the overgrowth of weeds etc, but there they are by the hundred.

A bowl of Strawberries, a dollop of cream, and maybe a sprinkle of sugar; What could be better?

Who doesn't like Strawberries!

p.s. My neighbour José has just offered me a tree-full of Cherries. I shall go a-scrumping this afternoon.

What can be better than sweet strawberries with thick cream and a sprinkling of caster sugar. Cherries, nah. Always sour.

Just love fresh, sweet strawberries even without the addition of cream or sugar.

Your photo of strawberries set my heart a flutter. Sadly, we'll have to wait a few more weeks in Ontario before strawberry picking begins.

How lucky! A tree full of cherries and strawberries by the hundreds. Surely you have landed in paradise!

I like that natural photo of you - presumably taken by Lady Magnon. And I'll tell you who doesn't like The Strawberries - The Gooseberries and The Raspberries - that's who. There's a lot of enmity in the competitive world of soft fruit.

All is good in your world! The berries look delicious and the cherries will be great.

I think perhaps pineapple is my favourite fruit hotly folllowed by strawberries and both embellished with cream of course.

You look well, Brighton must be suiting you.

Your time in Brighton seemed to go quickly. You are welcome to the strawberries but a tree full of sweet, red cherries would be wonderful. I could see my blood sugar soaring. Will have to wait till December for them here.

Fresh strawberries with cream, there can't possibly be anything better on a summer afternoon.

Sour? You must be buying the wrong cherries. I've never had a sour one.

We eat a lot of Pineapples. They are so cheap these days too!

We had such a good time there.

I hear that there was a late frost here that ruined most of the Cherry, Plum, and Apple crops. However, my neighbour has just one of his trees that is filled with Cherries. He is always generous!
