A walk in the Park.

I've been taking my morning dog walks much earlier than usual recently. With it being light so much earlier, and with our exceptionally warm weather, it's allowed us to head off at 6.30am, and we often have the luxury of the Peace Garden to ourselves.

Early mornings in the gardens are beautiful. The birds are singing, the air is fresh and filled with ozone, and if we do meet other dog walkers, they are always chatty and pleasant.

Here are a few photos from yesterday, starting with some old codger and his scruffy mutt.

That's it; walk over.

    1. I took the photos about a week ago, it's all much greener now, but still as peaceful in the early mornings. I'm just off with Billy now!

  2. Early morning is just as you describe it here too. The air is so fresh and crisp and it's wonderfully peaceful. Its the getting-up thats the problem.
You've got lots of colour in your world too and beautiful green grass.

  5. Everything looks so beautiful. At hours like this I make my morning walk, sadly without a dog.

    1. I probably wouldn't go if I had no dog. Of course in France I go mushrooming by myself; depending on the season.

  6. You should complain to council about no hoper undesirables in the park.

The photo featuring the sole tree just greening up is very nice. Maybe you and Yorkie Man could collaborate with taking sole tree photos.

    1. The only people around are other dog-walkers who are usually very nice. When I lived in London I would often cycle around W1 in the early hours. It was wonderful.

    1. I agree. Even at 6.30am there are very few people about.

  9. Early morning walks are unique. Your park makes a perfect place for a stroll with birds chirping and the cool, moist air enveloping ...It''s a nice feeling.

  10. Lovely blossom. Are we expected to know which is the old codger and which the scruffy mutt?

  11. *gasp!* Billy is not scruffy! I enjoyed a bit of spring from your corner of the world. Everything is greening up here as well.
