When the hay has been cut and taken away, it's almost as if we have an infinity lawn.
And here is one of Bok's very favourite people. Bok used to live with little Zara's family; it was her mother who eventually decided that he should come to live with Monty (and us).
Zara comes to see him quite often; she only lives about 300 metres away. Bok is always so happy to see her that he becomes overcome with excitement.
She's one of those lovely children who is completely without 'hang-ups'. She comes to the house, says hello, sits down, has a chat, plays with Bok for a while, then says goodbye and moves on.
If only all children were thus.

It must be like heaven on a stick to sit there in the evening with a drink and nowhere to be.
It just drops down to a sort of valley.
We ain't complaining.
How are the children in a small village? don't they feel lonley sometimes?
My dog is 11 and she remembers each one of the members of the family that owned her 11 years ago.
There are 5 well-spread-out houses in our tiny hamlet, and we now have 8 children all under 13 (Bunny has yet to arrive). They all get on very well, but some are more polite than others. Little Zara is the friendliest.
With no fences how do you know the boundaries of your land? Such a lovely vista you have and such a sweet neighbour coming to visit her old friend.
Nowadays they drive big metal spikes into the ground to mark your limits. All you need then is a metal detector.

I am sure it is a treat to have such a lovely and well mannered child to visit. There are not many children where I live and I miss the sound of of kids playing. I am thankful that I get to see my grandchildren often.
I'm convinced Bok was brought into this world to bring joy.
Our granddaughter is the same way...sweet loves!

With 5 grand-SONS, we are very keen to have a grand-DAUGHTER. Girls are so much more affectionate. Little Zara is proof.
Me too. And he does!
How sweet, Zara sounds delightful. We currently have a female friend of my boys round, girls are a mystery to me :)

Lady M keeps talking about it; she wants another Lab'. I'm not too sure.
It's Muguet (Lily of the valley), they are given to friends on May 1st. This one was from 'St Theresa of the Floral Tribute'.
