Favourite toys.

I do know that King George V's favourite toy, as a small boy, was a simple piece of wood, but Billy has far more refined taste.

He has two absolute favourite toys, the cardboard box he arrived in, and the remains of Bok's half eaten Football.  In just a couple of months, he's already eaten half the cardboard box, and the poor Football has become reduced to a shadow of its former self.

Maybe this is why he's grown so fast.... too much protein.

  1. Thanks for the chuckle. Young kids often do prefer the wrapping paper to the present! He's delightful

    1. He's very funny, but I suppose all puppies are. I almost wish he'd stay as he is.

  3. He is gorgeous but wait for the 'teenage' years then there will be some trouble.

    1. He's full of mischief already; nothing goes unchewed. Oven gloves are his favourite. My hands are covered in plasters!

  4. We were told Rick did not play with toys. Now he cannot bear to be parted from his beloved Bunny.

    1. Billy runs around the house with his cardboard box; I've given-up trying to stop him.

  5. I wonder whether he chases the white tip of his tail or is it only cats that do that.

  6. Very cute. What do you think he will like to play with when the box and football are finally annihilated?

    1. He was brought to me, lying on a bed of straw. It seems a long time ago now.

    1. He's a very light sleeper. Short, deep, bursts of sleep seems to be his style.

  12. It certainly shows just how much Billy has grown. The box is part of his history after all, no wonder he is very attached to it.

I have posted many of his battles of getting rid of these boxes that invade his home. We are so lucky to have these special gud dugs in our lives.
