Rule No 1 (and the only rule) in the Magnon book of dog behaviour, says 'Absolutely no dogs on the sofas'.
Looks like Lady M forgot to put that chair on MY sofa again last night (it's the only thing that defers them).
Do they look guilty? No; they couldn't give a fig.
I'll have to think of some awful punishment for them both..... erm.... walkies!

My first hound would always sleep on a chair or settee whenever we were out but keep an ear cocked and carefully decant herself to the floor before we got in. She was a white dog so there was always a warm patch of very, very obvious hair where she'd just been ...
We mostly kept up the pretence for her sake!

Let's face it...we're all just putty in their hands. (Don't tell them but I like their spirit and willfulness.) Besides, I don't know how you could deny Bok of anything.
Give up the battle, use the upholstery attachment on your carpet sweeper as I have done.
I just have a "cat rug" on the sofa which can be removed when we use it.
Get a drab sofa and they won't be interested in making a stunning contrast!
Aw, but they look so comfortable, and I'm SURE they'd be happy to move over to make room for you. If you ask them nicely.
