Q. What's the connection between a pizza or kebab, beer, hunting rifles, school scholarships, or a $100 supermarket credit card?
A. They are just some of the international bribes to 18-30 year olds to get vaccination jabs; if they can tear themselves away from their X Boxes or iPhones, of course!

It’s sad bribes are being considered
I could hardly believe that bribes were necessary. 18-30 year olds are notorious.
Hunting rifles???!!!!
Not well thought out is the polite version of my reaction to read New York City will pay people to get vaccinated; and, a good luck finding a way to prevent desperate folks from getting multiple shots. Offering services instead of money and goods makes sense. After all, the government is already givivg people the huge gift of potentially not dieing from a horrid virus.
My kids wouldn't have had a jab if they'd known they could wait and get a bribe.
In the USA; where else!
I suppose it just demonstrates how one side is desperate to get people vaccinated, and on the other side to wait until offered pieces of gold. Bizarre.
And I would have hung-on for a new car!
Everyone who has the jab here between ages of 18 and 25 gets 150 euros. Why not. My grandkids are very happy. They'd been vaccinated already but can claim the money.
It's just the encouragement those younger ones need. There were something like 60,000 applications in the first day
LOL! Loudest laugh this week!
I haven't heard this one!
Good grief! I hadn't heard it either.
Probably the most sensible thing I read is for people to get a $1000 tax cut. That seems like a very good idea to me.
Hunting rifles? I wonder where that might be!
For Massachusetts (US) residents there is now a lottery for those vaccinated. $1 million for adult winners and a 4 year scholarship to attend a university or college for youth. One drawing has taken place and a 62 year old man won $1 million and a high school girl won the scholarship. This seems to be increasing the numbers of people getting vaccinated.
Good for them. What will they spend it on?
That certainly sounds more intelligent than giving someone a hunting rifle.
I'll give you ten guesses!
Well, at least there's the fun of the draw involved; and who wouldn't like a million in the bank!
West Virginia!
They were thinking of a few days on a Greek island, for something different. But the virus will keep them on their own island I think.
