A while back I posted a picture of this Christmas present from Lady Magnon; a beautiful small peppered Ham. For those not au fait with such delights (and wondered what was inside) here is the answer.
I shall not, however, be showing the insides of my new 'phone.

I do love peppered ham - although I have only had it in the thin sliced variety. Not sure I could, or shall I say, my delicate stomach, take a good cut of it. But good for you for being able to handle it!
I do hate what this getting old can do to so many of my senses.

How do they get the pepper to stick so well?
I've just had a look at the label. No mention of PVA; just E numbers.
I don't even know where I could get a ham such as that here, but I would, If I could. enjoy!
