You need a larger sofa!

What a handsome dog. We had one built on that scale, Ned, he was gorgeous.

The afore mentioned Bill the lurcher use to creep into my room and get onto the bed with me in the night - I never had the heart to turf him off.

I believe the poor beast is completely prostrate with fear....I'm quite certainly he would obey if only he could.

Good luck with that. He looks set to stay awhile.

I don't even bother anymore. I just wash the covers.
Mr. M, he does look quite comfortable.

Too bloody comfortable. I usually put a chair on it overnight... I forgot.

well I'm finished choking myself to death with laughter...indeed no need to bother! K9s and sofas were made just for each other...dog's rule!

Our cats and dogs have always thought they ruled our house, too. (Because they do!)

How funny. I was reading through the comments and feeling guilty. The next thing I used to hear after the alarm was Duke thumping from the sofa to the floor. I was thinking how awful of me to have trained my dog to lie to me. Then I got to the chair.....Well, at least you aren't treated every morning to a sofa embedded with a floating layer of collie hair.

Ha! What are you complaining about, he's left you a space to squeeze into! He's a handsome fellow, I must say.
