Not AGAIN!!!

Today is my birthday; it seems like hardly a year ago since I had my previous one.

All far too depressing.

p.s. Please don't tell me I'm a scruffy old bastard and I need a haircut; it IS my birthday after all!

  2. HAPPY BIRTHDAY - I was thinking earlier that it definitely doesn't seem a whole year since your last one. I don't know why but I always feel a lot older on your birthdays than my own. I just did the maths and it doesn't seem possible that you are XX.

  3. Happy Birthday to you!!!

Today (the 21st) is my birthday. Got a bit toasted and ate food that is not good for me in my old age. Perfect.

    1. You're allowed to be irresponsible on your birthday. Happy belated birthday to you too.

  7. I love the fact that you wear your spectacles on a 'rope' just as I do! We are both in the old age club ...... but above ground at any age is always the best option.....have a great day.

  13. So that's why the Duchess has rushed to hospital today! So that the third in line to the throne can share your birthday!

  15. On the plus side, men do seem to improve with age, like fine wine!
I just refuse to have birthdays now. :)

  16. age is absolutely and totally irrelevant!!! As a pensioner, which is astonishing as I still feel as I did in flower power days, I have grown my hair past my shoulders and let it go silver. Feels great. So happy birthday and don't cut your hair.

  17. You're a DEAR old bastard! :)

Happy Birthday Cro! You share a birthday with my brother-in-law. Hope you have the best year ever! Best wishes from my side of the pond!

  18. Forget the number, and make the most of the life you have now. On the other hand you could do like I did on my birthday - stay in bed for half the day and only get up for chocolate breaks.

The good news is that the day after is much better.

    Happy, happy birthday!

  19. Everything about getting older is not bad. Yeah most is but not everything. People forgive a lot when you have gray hair and I think the more of it you have the more they can forgive. So go out and have a blast and Happy Birthday!

  21. Same from me.
Hope it's a great one. It is after all a great time of year to have a birthday, much better than in the run up to Christmas (like me), when you can't have a bbq and all the restaurants are knee deep in cheap tinsel........!!

  32. Happy Belated Birthday my dear blog buddy and Cro-Bar inspiration! I look forward to your posts even though I don't always comment. I'm just selfish that way. And if not for you my entire experience with life in Europe would have ended in Ireland. How sad would that have been?

  34. Yep I wonder what age it is exactly that the tone of voice of "It's my birthday!!" changes from joy to gloom :)
