It DID Try.




Then bang, bang, woosh, woosh, bang again, smaller woosh.

A few Cranes or Herons (difficult to tell) flew overhead.

No rain. then calm again. 

Bugger, I'll just have to keep watering everything!

And my sprinkler seems to have lost its oomph. Maybe they've reduced our water pressure. Back to watering cans.

The native Americans used to do rain dances. I think the effectiveness is undocumented. Personally I believe instead of rain, it brought the colonists. So I would proceed down that path carefully.

In Loches, We had loads of rain yesterday morning and watching the Tour de France now, there is some heavy rain there too.
Maybe you will get some later

I saw the rain on the Tour yesterday.... we were supposed to have some of that, but they changed their minds half way through the afternoon. I've just had a look at the 'meteo', and there's now no rain forecast for at least 10 days.
