We call them "rider" mowers here in the US or if you are really well off and buy one that turns very tight circles (for about $10,000) it is called a "zero-turn" All the same, that's a might fine roadster you got there Cro.
Congratulations! I know just how you feel. It is a "must" toy here, with acres to mow. We replaced one last year and I love it! Cutting grass is my time to just think, or sing, or cry!
But all men are little boys at heart, that's what I love about them. Just hope for dry weather or you'll be champing at the bit to get out there. lol Briony x

or even just 'tractors'. No, you're right, they're mowers that you ride on; i.e. ride-on mowers.
