With considerably more grass to mow this year than last, I thought it was time we kept up with the Jones's, and bought ourselves a ride-on mower.
I know two small boys who will like it..... but it's MINE...... MINE...... MINE!!!

ReplyDeleteWe call them "rider" mowers here in the US or if you are really well off and buy one that turns very tight circles (for about $10,000) it is called a "zero-turn" All the same, that's a might fine roadster you got there Cro.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I know just how you feel. It is a "must" toy here, with acres to mow. We replaced one last year and I love it! Cutting grass is my time to just think, or sing, or cry!

ReplyDeleteI've always called them 'ride-on mowers' and someone at my last location told me they're really called 'lawn tractors'. Yeah, whatever, you say say tomayto, i say tomahto....
or even just 'tractors'. No, you're right, they're mowers that you ride on; i.e. ride-on mowers.
