Now, this might sound like a really silly question, but it's one of the great debates in British politics.
Which of these TWO PROPOSALS would you prefer; or even sounds the more sensible?
1. The UK buys oil from Russia, so that Putin has plenty of money to spend on killing people in Ukraine.
2. We drill our own oil in the North Sea (of which we have lots), giving work to thousands of UK workers.
Honestly, this really IS a serious question, and it explains perfectly the difference between the UK's Communist Socialist Party, and the UK's Tory Party. One would prefer to financially support a nasty genocidal regime, whilst the other prefers to support their own country's economy.
I really don't know what more I can say! The whole country is STUNNED!
Which way would you go; pro-Putin, or pro-your own country? Tricky eh........

The question as you put it is not that straightforward. The way that the fragrant Ms Badenoch frames it all is misleading and deigned for political effect but not rooted in reality I am afraid - neither geological, economic or political reality.
I take your reply to mean that you are on the Pro-Putin side of the argument. I knew there would be at least one.
No. I detest Putin and all that he stands for. Like every member of the Labour cabinet I am a true British patriot.

It's more than just unfortunate that the so-called Conservative Party has been so late to the party. They had the opportunity to repeal the original 2008 Climate Act during their 14 years in office, instead they, through May's tinkering, gold plated it, they had the opportunity to get fracking under way as well as more Noth Sea licences but they bottled that and instead loaded insane levels of tax on the sector. They could have got rid of the idiotic electric vehicle sales targets but didn't. I may be doing them a disservice, but I wouldn't trust them to actually do what Trump has done, and actually put the needs of the country before cultist insanities. In particular, Mad Ed should be sectioned before he destroys what is left of UK industry.
Mad Milli is obsessed. They do everything they can to import things that could be either made or extracted here at home, then wonder why we have a MILLION young people unemployed.
