Sounds good but why are you busier in September than August? I would have thought there was less to do as you have done your pruning.
The grass has grown again and needs cutting, Haddock's certainly needs attention, and in general the laziness of high Summer is slowly disappearing.
This is the right approach.To Find only the positive.

It will be 33 C again today, and we shall swim. We do look at the UK weather, and I must say it doesn't seem to have been kind this year.
Now not only do I not know what day it is, I also don't know what month it is. Soon it will be year.

I wonder if we have cauliflowers in the shops yet. We had a short holiday and on our return I found a squash forming, bigger than a tennis ball and looking healthy. Must have been the extra egg I fed it before leaving.
September is a month for miracles it seems.

The weather is beautiful here in Hertfordshire and we are expecting temperatures in the 30’s in the coming days. Time to begin to start putting the garden to bed although, ours is looking rather nice for September .... it is usually going over by now. Yes, it is a good photo of Lady M. Autumn is the nicest time of the year here, but this year we are having quite a good Spring.

We certainly have to check regularly what day it is. In fact it hardly matters to us at all.
The arrival of big Caulis in the shops is always welcomed. I love them in soups.
She came home from her morning walk today with a handful of big plump Chestnuts.
It's very nice here at the moment; still in just shorts and T Shirt for at least another month (I hope).

September is my absolute favourite month. It is truly wonderful in our little corner of France. Warm days but cooler nights, bliss.

June and September are my favourites, but September is always more dependable.
Fall is lovely. Crisp mornings, warm afternoons and cool nights. Our gardens are having their final sprint. Nice photo of Lady M. and a great hat. Hats for every season and occasion sounds good to me.
