Although I have already received the second dose of the vaccine, I do not really know what I received ... I had no side effects and did not feel anything. I hope I was really vaccinated.
My humble apologies, JayCee. I wrote that immediately after apologising to Cro for being derogatory about Northerners on his last post when he pointed out that it was as a result of a comment by YP about Southerners. The comment will really only mean anything to Cro. However it was out of order (except when YP attacks me for being a Lancastrian) and you are right to chastise me. I apologise.
Well, YP, there's no possible legal defense now that you've outright proven Graham's original assertion. PS: Yes. It was almost as funny as the Borat segment. I wonder how they will write this all up in the history books.
All I have to show for my firsr dose of vaccine is a tiny bruise where the needle went in. No side effects at all. It will be a fortnight on Thursday since I had dose one - now the wair for the second part.
There are reports of elderly people being charged a lot of money for a vaccine by criminals calling on them at home and injecting them, goodness knows what with. My dad who's 92 has fallen for many scams in the past and I'm convinced that if he wasn't in a much safer place now he would fall for this one, he's an easy target. There are so many evil people who target the elderly and vulnerable in their homes.

Optimistic Cro!
The difference between an optimist and a pessimist, is that the optimist enjoys himself whilst waiting for the inevitable! I AM that optimist!
This is a daily, optimistic, 'photos and comments' blog. I make no judgements (only occasionally), just notes. If you wish to comment in any way at all, please feel free. Everything and everyone (except the obdurate and dictatorial) is very welcome.
I was born just south of London, but for the past 50 years I've lived in S W France. I am a painter by profession, and writer by desire. Lady Magnon and I live between an ancient cottage in a tiny village in perfectly tranquil French countryside, and a bijou townhouse in Brighton UK. In France we have plenty of fruit trees, all situated amongst a view that takes the breath away, in the UK we have a handkerchief sized patio. We also have a Border Collie called Billy. I try to treat our planet with respect, and encourage others to do likewise (without preaching).
Contentment is a glass of red, a plate of charcuterie, and a slice of good country bread. Perfect!
Although I have already received the second dose of the vaccine, I do not really know what I received ... I had no side effects and did not feel anything. I hope I was really vaccinated.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you have been! Israel has been praised for its Vaccination Programme. But don't now think you're totally immune; go carefully.
DeletePeople will sell anything and people will buy anything. Unless they are from Yorkshire when they take it if it's free.
ReplyDeleteGraham!
DeleteNaughty.

DeleteDon't worry; I knew what you were referring to. The north/south banter between YP and me, is only a bit of fun (on my side anyway).
DeleteGraham, my chastisement was only tongue in cheek. YP is a very rude boy sometimes isn't he?
DeleteMy lawyers will be in touch with the lot of you! You are going to require more than placebos!
DeleteI hear Rudy Giuliani is free, having been stiffed by his last client. Want I should have him give you a call?
DeleteDon't bother Debby; he's too expensive.
DeleteHang on, Debby said he's free. I hope his hair dye does not run this time... Wasn't that so bloody funny!

ReplyDeleteIt's a shame that there isn't a single jab vaccination. I can imagine a lot of people not bothering to go back for Part 2.

Some people really are disgusting; there's no depth to which they wouldn't descend.
DeleteIt is a good thing to have placebos that can often be successful in the treatment of any disease.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly are in Homeopathy!!!
DeleteActually, Trump totally lost interest last April or May/
ReplyDeleteI doubt he'd even know what a placebo is.
