That'sa ma boy!

My oldest son, Kimbo, takes his visits to Tesco very seriously.

Where he lives, in Kensington in central London, it's the epicenter of the UK's COVID-19 epidemic.

Best to take all precautions; n'est-ce pas? Stay safe darling boy!

  2. The government would not be pleased. Doesn't he realise how serious this is. He could get run over without eye holes and put intolerable strain on Our National Health Service.

    1. He was more worried about those viruses getting through the tiny eye holes. Luckily I was able to assure him that they're the size of ping pong balls.

  3. Good cover. He definitely can't touch his face in that get up

  4. I was wondering how he was doing earlier on today.

  5. Good for him. It is interesting how the residents of our richest areas are more directly affected than those in our poorer areas.

  6. Perhaps he can patent that PPE outfit and make his fortune?

  7. Very funny. A picture like that could go viral.

  10. Thought of you this morning. Saw a photo in an article on police re confusion on their interpretation of how to enforce lockdown measures.

The photo was taken at Brighton beach. Two people, sitting on the pebbles, in the middle of nowhere, one else in sight - well, there was a dog in the middle distance and a guy wading out of the water. From a "safe" 2.5 m distance that police officer told them to get off the beach. No shit.

    1. I saw that picture too; I'd have given them a good 'coshing'.

    2. Some are taking that too far..when locals are told off for walking locally, even rural dwellers walking from home when they live near no-one.

    3. Haven't they got proper crimes to investigate? There was a man in Weston-super-Mare who had parked up by some woods on the edge of town in order to take his dog for a walk and two cops challenged him asking condescendingly if he had read the government guidelines. Ridiculous!

    4. A certain amount of 'common sense' is required. My son was stopped by the cops here yesterday. He showed them his bit of paper, they said it should have included the time (for which there was no box), and after a pleasant chat he went on his way.

    5. You always get jobsworths in all occupations. I am pleased to say that not all policemen are like this but the few give the many a bad name at the moment.

  11. I hope you won't mind me saying this but your son has got a rather square head. Mind you he seems happy enough.

    1. I'm pleased you didn't also mention that he's bald; he's very sensitive about it.

  13. Cro you are not to drive to take the dog or yourself for a walk, just go from home

    1. We are extremely lucky here. Right outside our front door is open farmland and woods. No need to use the car other than for shopping.

    1. Actually, I can remember when I discovered that he had a great sense of humour. I was very 'proud' of him. He can be extremely funny. We laugh a lot when together.
