Cro and Yael, we are blessed to have a farm just down the road and the farm butter is TDF (to die foe) and not at all expensive. Yesterday the tub I selected from the cold farm's outdoor shop's cold room weighed 1.14kg and cost me R85 = Euro 5.27! In the supermarket we pay double that for commercial butter.

Jo, you might be wise to buy several kilos; there could be a world shortage, and price rise.
Our cat is very independent. We only really see him when he wants food, other than at night when he sleeps on top of me!

I’m glad we don’t have a butter shortage in the states with holidays soon upon us. There will be baking and cooking which calls for delicious butter!

It's really come at the wrong time of year. Butter is needed for almost everything.
