We are now entering week two of our heat...104 F here yesterday afternoon. Meanwhile the folks down in Louisiana are experiencing serious, dangerous flooding, so I won't moan too much about our stickiness.

Hot here all the time. We love summer in Eastern England. Hot and dry unlike the west, wet and windy..
I remember my days in nearby Ely. Winters could be quite harsh, but summers were good.
I loved Summers in Easter England, when I was further South - but up here in North Yorkshire we have had about three days of Summer weather.

We got some needed rain last night so I won't have to trudge around with the hose today in the heat.
We've been hearing about the Louisiana floods, and the snakes. Ghastly.
