Summer Love (a refreshingly non-depressing posting).

In recent times they've taken to keeping each other company, outdoors.

They occasionally touch noses, but otherwise they know their places.

It's how it should be.

  3. Tabbies are beautiful ! I have had 5 tabbies over the last 45 years. Present incumbent is now 17 and very frail and deaf, but still eats well . He ignores the dogs !

  8. There is an optical illusion in this photo for me - I keep thinking that Freddie is slowly blinking at us, like cats do.

  13. Tabby cats are the most beautiful of cats.
I named my daughter Tabitha, knowing it would be shortened to Tabby. And it was.

    1. Yes I love Tabbies. Your daughter should be proud of her lovely name.

  14. Freddie looks remarkably like the kidling's cat, Connelly. He is, however, far more regal and aloof than her cat, who is neediness personified.

    1. Freddie was actually 'BOUGHT' from someone in Windsor (by my oldest son), and he probably thinks he's royalty.

  15. Thank you, dear Cro, for sharing this picture of shared space and time with us. It's a good image to return to when other images challenge life's joy.

    Best wishes.
