Laurel Aitken & The Skatalites - Mood for Ska


Over the years I've posted several versions of 'I'm in the mood for love'; this version 'I'm in the mood for Ska' by Laural Aitkin and The Skatalites is amongst the best.

Put down your scrubbing brush, pen, or garden fork, and turn up the volume....

      I've done most of my work, had a swim, and still have a few acres to mow before I can settle down to the tour. Beat that.

    The ironing awaits but I listened first - put me in a better mood (not that I am in the mood for ironing.)

      Luckily we don't wear the type of clothing that needs to be ironed. Shorts and T shirts are fine wrinkly.
