Cro's Internet Café.

With 'children' and guesties in the house, our dining table has become home to FOUR laptops; my own laptop being just through the door on the left (my studio).

The couple on the right (Sam-n-Serge) were 'Skyping' their son in London, who was still in bed.

What the hell did people do before the existance of the WWW?

  1. Hello:
Just occasionally we find the scene which you portray here just a trifle worrying. But then what are we doing now on this wonderful summer's morning?!!

  2. We were just talking about the picture above the settle. It's by Scottish artist Murray McNeel Caird Urquhart. I've just looked up recent auction results for his stuff, and was very pleasantly surprised. Hmmmmm.

  3. That's a very familiar scene in our house when the kids come to stay. I think we had 5 laptops on the go last summer. (I like your harlequin wall.)

  4. Talk to each other? (when not watching T.V.)

  5. Sounds like our house! We've moved eating permanently to the living room, the laptops have laid claim to our kitchen table.

  6. Do I see an exposed brick/stone wall? Your home looks so warm and cozy. I've given up worrying about how much time I spend on the internet. It is what it is.

  7. You should start doing daily quizzes, "What color shorts did I wear today? Did we eat lunch? Is there still a sun in the sky?" Just to keep everyone on their toes.

Well, anyway, this is what my house has looked like all summer with my pre-teen niece and nephew over all the time. I can't get on the darn computer most hours of the day!!

  8. There was still a half decent postal service then Cro when people knew how to write with a pen (or whatever those things were)

  9. Like everything else Cro, it's all about the quality of what you do! And everyone is together! I love this techno-world we live in
