I always do Summer T Shirts for my grandsons. This year I couldn't find my old and well-loved stencil, so, Stage 1 was having to cut a new one. I changed the script slightly.
I should add that 'Peyrot' is the name of our 3 house lieu-dit (tiny hamlet).

Stage 2: Painting (very carefully). No bleeding edges, please.
Stage 3: Drying (2 for age 6, and 2 for age 8).
Stage 4: Wearing. Amazingly they seem to actually like them (well, these two do)! Happy holidays boys (if they get lost, at least people will know where to return them).
I seldom wear anything but tee shirts in the Summer. How neat to have one with your home's name on it. They look great Cro!
ReplyDeleteThat idea could really catch on here as kids are always getting lost in stores like Wal-Mart. In fact just tonight I was watching a movie...
They look great, Cro. Very classy! Even Bok and Monty admire them - in fact Monty appears to be trying to lick one of them. What lucky boys to have such an inventive and clever grandpa.
ReplyDeleteI love Bok's face; I'm sure he's laughing.
DeleteGreat stuff Cro - my, haven't the boys grown since they were last with you.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea Cro. Have a great time with your boys.
ReplyDeleteThe boys look really happy in their new shirts, but where are the ones for Bok and Monty?
ReplyDeleteThey'd probably eat them!
DeleteFantastic idea, Cro. Do you have one for yourself too, in case you forget where you live? ;)
ReplyDeleteI wear last-year's model.
DeleteI was going to ask the same thing. Maybe we should all take to wearing them on Saturday nights in case we have too many lemonades. Or maybe just a label like Paddington Bear?
ReplyDeleteNice work Cro, I love the lettering.
Who gets more enjoyment out of the visit? Grumpy or grumpkins...
ReplyDeletejust asking?
LLX
Without question; Grumpy!
DeleteMagnifique!
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely sweet thing to do, I will have to copy your idea in the future.
ReplyDeleteVery sweet, I agree. I'm sure the boys are enjoying their secret hangout and their exclusive shirts! Clever Cro.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great idea. Almost as good as microchipping your pets lol.
ReplyDeleteLove the shirts. No wonder why your grandkids love their Grumpy so much.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Cro, afraid our “Little Terrorists” have become critical to a fault and would probably eat them before the dogs could get hold of them.
ReplyDeleteClassy. Echo the comments above. And thinking it could be borrowed for the annual wine-crawls with friends here in the fall.
ReplyDeleteVery nice - how about making shirts for their fathers and yourself and a group photo of the three generations. Failing that just Grumpy and the boys in matching shirts.
ReplyDeleteYour grandsons have a very special Grumpy. And I'll bet he's hardly grumpy at all. (Neat shirts! Of COURSE the boys like them!)
ReplyDeleteCool shirts!
