Europe is spared!

It's official, this year's Eurovision Song Contest has been cancelled.

So, here for your delectation is the song that would have come last. Yet another bizarre song, accompanied by a bizarre video.

Give it about a minute, then you won't feel too guilty about turning it off.

"If you control the life force, the force of life is with you; and there is nothing that can stop you" (other than cancelling the contest, of course)!

    1. Bound to be; I don't know what's keeping them from declaring as much.

    2. Canada has already withdrawn.

  2. Not my sort of music but I can imagine the appeal to some young people. As for the video clip.....why? Thanks for the one minute release. Boredom had already set in.

    1. I found the whole thing very ODD. No wonder the UK comes last every year!

  3. Eurovision Song Contest is off limits here since the year it was won by Austrian drag queen Conchita Wurst. Since then we only like songs that score 0 points. The Make Make archived that distinction the year after Wurst (which means Sausage).

    1. And Kase is cheese. This must be the Wurst Kase scenario.

    2. The ESC used to be fun; now it's become a mix of money and politics.

  4. When Japan was handed the Olympic flame last week they were adamant the games would continue. A minister who suggested otherwise had to publicly apologise.
That was a week ago. I should think their attitude may have changed by now

    1. I should hope so, it would have been one of the world's major GATHERINGS.

  5. Perhaps this will be the end of the ESC. Or am I just being too optimistic?

    2. Wogan was funny, but only because he treated the whole thing as a joke.

    1. I don't see the point of him being in there. I hope they paid him.

  9. Well Canada pulled out of the Olympics yesterday and apparently other countries are now starting to do the same - very sad but it really does need to be postponed.

I was able watch last year's Eurovision as one of our International Channels carried it each night on delay - it has to be one of the most bizarre things I've ever seen - but it was a bit like watching a rain wreck - I couldn't stop!

  10. James Newman is a member of The Yorkshire Nation - from the little town of Settle. Disrespecting James's amazing creativity means that you are now on the hit list Monsieur Cro. Just wait till The Plague has gone.
