Nuts in May

Personally I think Candice-Marie was right; 72 chews does seem an awful lot.

The clip won't play so I can only guess at its content.

A good friend of mine chewed thoroughly, nay, thoughtfully, in a meditative kind of way. What would take some a few minutes to wolf down, some fifteen minutes to enjoy, he'd savour well past the plate's cold-by-moment. It wasn't so much agonizing to watch as vaguely (why?) disturbing. Maybe, of course, he was a cow reincarnated. Have you ever watched a cow chew, from side to side as they do? Puts you in a trance.

Keith has gone full circle and come back as a hipster. Mike Leigh at his best.

Try to find it on YouTube; I quite expect it'll remind you of your friend.

He's also very much like an old college friend (who was chucked out). My friend looked very much the same, but spoke with a strong Caribbean accent; an odd mix.

Mine too Jacqueline; without doubt.

If we all chewed for so long there would be no conversation at a table.
I like her accent.

If you ever have the time (a wet Sunday afternoon perhaps), it is worth watching the whole play. It'll be something you'll never forget.

Absolutely brilliant play, I love it.

A classic; one of the best ever.

Apart from the play itself, it also holds many memories for me as to where I was and what I was doing at that time. (All good).

It was very much of its time.

There's nothing like a good dose of discretion.
