It's amazing how troubling it is to lose contact with the world. It's my oldest son's birthday today too.
I was getting worried. Phew.
It was cut off at about 5 pm yesterday, and it only returned at about 2 pm today. I believe a very large area was involved.
I worried too. Happy birthday to your son.
Cro, sorry that your connection's been iffy. I finally had a chance to catch up on your recent posts and surely hope to see a new post from you soon.(Particularly liked the pecking order post!)

I believe a huge area was totally closed down; possibly for the installation of 'fibre optics'.
I thought, oh, he's on the way to the airport again.
Fabulous day here again; I've been mowing.
I was worried. I'm relieved now. Happy birthday to your son, and I'm glad you can Skype him now.It is a lovely cloudless day here, 23 degrees, and loving it!Greetings Maria x

I opened the kitchen window.
We have rain in New Zealand, a low signal and an ageing tablet computer..I feel your pain! Glad you now are reconnected
With both the telephone and internet disabled I felt very cut-off; I don't have a mobile.
Does us good sometimes to be unwired!
Would a mobile be useful for emergencies Cro?
