It was a beautiful day here yesterday. All the lawns are mowed, Haddock's is mowed, and the orchard is mowed. What a very good boy am I.

A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
Lovely sunny day here as well, sadly the grass is still too wet to cut.
ReplyDeleteOur grass was already dry by mid-day. Amazing.
DeleteGood boy! Lovely photos. I like the stones. It started with a lovely day here yesterday but by 18:00 it was pouring with rain; we need the rain.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
I've just checked our forecast, and it looks as if we're having four days of hot weather, then back to rain again. I shall be working hard for the next four days!
DeleteInteresting set of watering cans. Don't you have a hose?
ReplyDeleteSeveral; but they are ugly things, so out of sight.
DeleteI like these photos. The shadows and the light. I like sunlight, especially early morning when shadows and colors are stronger, as they are outside my window now. Bonjour!
ReplyDeleteI'm just back from my early morning dog walk, and the light is beautiful. I forgot my camera.
DeleteAnd relax!!
ReplyDeleteNot much hope of that I'm afraid. I've been so busy, and it looks to continue.
DeleteI'm envious. We've had a cracking weekend with the first dry grass since last autumn but my mower wouldn't start.
ReplyDeleteI hate any machines that don't start etc. My last mower was like that, so I went out directly and bought another one.
DeleteDo you collect watering cans? I bet you can't carry all those at once! Well, not full of water anyway!
ReplyDeleteIt's surprising how many we need. I think there another 2 somewhere.
DeleteWell done....hope you sat and had a glass of something lovely when you rested.
ReplyDeleteI did. I think I deserved it.
DeleteSimply love your photos! We are in autumn here but the weather has been unseasonally hot. A bit over it, I am!
ReplyDeleteJust very pleasant Spring weather here. I hope it lasts.
DeleteAh, the cruciform window...
ReplyDeleteIt hasn't fallen to bits yet.
DeleteEvery thing is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteA lovely time of year.
DeleteThe sun has been out here for three days now and all the trees have buds. Your photos are great...
ReplyDeleteYes, everything's budding here too. I noticed today that the Fig trees now have tiny leaves.
DeleteI have rung a gardener this morning and asked him to come and mow my grass. Spring has sprung here too.. I expect it will deteriorate at Easter.
ReplyDeleteThis was my third full mowing this year. The grass is growing at an alarming rate.
DeleteI like the smell of fresh cut grass. Lovely photos Cro..
ReplyDeleteLovely isn't it, especially just after a long winter.
DeleteYes, you are a good boy !
ReplyDeleteAdore all the blue watering cans.
cheers, parsnip and thehamish
It won't be long before those watering cans will be working overtime.
