These Roe Deer skulls turn up regularly during my walks with the dogs. The middle one (complete with teeth) was brought back by Monty just a few days ago.
I've considered making something with them, but coat hooks or gun racks are too bloody run-of-the-mill, so any more original ideas would be most welcome.
Maybe I'll just fix a long line of them to the exterior of the Séchoir (above the door), and give it a 'hunting lodge' look.... Lady M's not keen!

ReplyDeletechris I need to shoot you in the head
ReplyDeleteit will the kindest thing!
as for the skulls cro. nail them to your gateposts.... keep walkers away!
All very Georgia O'keefe...
ReplyDeleteI think a few twinkly lights and you'd have yourself some unique Christmas decorations...
Actually Cro has some nice bowls with pentacle motifs. Maybe place them on sticks next to the altar and ring of fire?
ReplyDeleteMount them to a nice block of wood and use them for bookends? The point bits would make good note holders. lol.
ReplyDeleteYou could make really funky buttons for an arty sewer. A lot of them. You'd have stirrup cups left over.
ReplyDeleteI have goat skulls attached to some of my trees - they keep the christians away :)
ReplyDeleteThey'd make unique table legs. Or you could paint 'em hot pink, hang 'em on the wall, and call them modern art.
ReplyDeleteAll of the above sound good lol or something! but I agree with Lady M...
ReplyDeleteOver here the farmers have skulls on their gates that I have to get out and open to go through,I have to say they are cattle skulls no jazzy antlers.
Well I like jacquelines idea....christmas coming up!
ReplyDeleteJust a bit too macabre for me.
ReplyDeleteI think they're beautiful just hung on the wall as works of art...as is...
