You can tell the temperature's rising because salads appear at lunchtime on the Cro table.
The substantial vegetable soups will be put on hold for a while, and out comes the Paté, simple salad, and even some Garlic bread. It really does feel as if Summer is on it's way.
It's only 17 C today, but it feels like 25 C.
Feels like 3C here!!!
ReplyDeleteReally? It's lovely here. We're all sitting outdoors in our bikinis!
DeleteOh, how you do make me laugh. I can just picture it. Thank you.
DeleteIt's great here further along the south coast, our neighbours are having a BBQ, we can't be bothered to walk to their garden, so sat listening to their music.
ReplyDeleteWe had the Brighton Marathon today as well, so the beach area was over-full. I stayed at home.
DeleteWe have similar temperatures here. Lovely sitting in the sun and I love the longer warmer nights.
ReplyDeleteYour summery lunch looks delicious
I quite expect it'll soon change; it always does. We are just being 'tempted'.
DeleteEnjoying the end of Daylight Savings here. Temp down to 14 C. at night, early 20's during the day. Feels quite autimnal. Lovely. My favourite seasons are spring and autumn.
ReplyDeleteIt's still cold in the mornings here. When I took Billy for his morning walk yesterday it was 3 C; I expect it'll be the same this morning.
DeleteSalad is just soup without the broth and cold. :)
ReplyDeleteI'd tuck right in to that fare. :)
I imagine we'll be back to mid-day soup again before long. This lovely weather is bound to end soon. We haven't had any rain for weeks.
DeleteFreezing up here on the Norfolk coast- blowing an east wind as usual, we don't get spring until mid-May! On the water rations for the three day event, why not fill your empty wine bottles with tap water in readiness?
