I've owned big houses, bigger houses, and tiny houses; our present house is one of the latter.
When I say a 'tiny' house; I mean it. Here is our little home; still leafless, but in glorious warm sunshine.
Not much of it, is there? However, of all the homes I've owned, it's proved to be by far the most pleasant! Size isn't everything.
My detailed guided tour takes all of 34 seconds; join me!

Indoor tour?
Too much clutter!
The 'grounds' appear expansive and appeal to the rural in F.
I thought it would be an inside tour, showing the fire smoked walls.
It's a very desirable residence. Pleasing to the eye. Your terrace is perfect for outdoor living. I hope you will be eating their very soon and swimming in the pool.
There's a lot more behind; the grass takes about 2 hours to mow. I do it bit by bit; I was at it yesterday.
Too many muddy dog paw prints around to show the interior.
Lady M was getting it ready just yesterday, no doubt the mid-day sun will drive us into the shade before too long. For the moment we eat on the uncovered terrace just outside the kitchen, with the Quince tree for shade. Can't wait to open the pool.
Thanks for the Tour. It was very interesting to hear your voice.
It looks beautiful Cro. No wonder you love it.
Probably better without it.
Tiny, but beautiful. The view out front is superb too. Maybe I'll do a tiny film of that one day as well.
It seems a very pleasant imprisonment your beautiful home and garden.
What a lovely place you have there, but I would love to see the inside. I was excited thinking that is what you would show us! Never mind the doggy pawprints or clutter. That is what makes a home !
It’s perfect and has a pleasing balance about it. It’s so pretty and the wisteria and Montana clematis are imminent and will put on an amazing show soon ! You must have had many years of contentment there. XXXX
"Tiny"? Bloody hell, you should try living in a miner's cottage in Grimethorpe. By the way, you have a lovely speaking voice with not a hint of French influence..."This is the BBC News with Cro Magnon... Riots are expected in the Perigord region of south central France following certain supermarket price hikes - including foie gras and Bleu d'Auvergne cheese..."
No sight of Haddock's??
Not much actual 'garden', just lawns and fruit trees. I'm not too hot on flowers.
Maybe one day.
I have loved every minute of it. In many ways it's my dream home. It would be nice to have a stream running through it, but one can't have everything (so they tell me).
I should have put-on my Maurice Chevalier accent. Zank evan for leetel girlz, etc.
Not a lot to see there yet. Just some spent Kale, and a couple of rows of Onion sets. I may throw caution to the winds and start planting this weekend.
It looks idyllic, especially to someone who lives in a concrete jungle.
It is absolutely charming and in such a beautiful location.
Oh go on Cro. We've all got too much clutter, we don't mind, really!
It's lovely Cro, you have a nice big garden, that's the most important thing - to me anyway - I always look at the garden first and then the house.
'Concrete jungle' it ain't; bucolic jungle maybe.
YOU know more than anyone what it's like here; 'Lovely Lumberjack'.
The garden is mostly 'lawn'; apart from Haddock's. But we do use it a lot for different games, etc.
Thanks for showing us your home. Very interesting.

I am not sure that I would describe it as tiny, but it is indeed very beautiful.
My pleasure!
Believe me; it is.
I have tried, but the short film wouldn't download.
What a beautiful home
I agree with Sue... charming is the perfect word. I can see why you love it. And yes, a stream would be nice. We have a Texas creek out back.. not as nice as a stream, but we like it... and it brings us lots of visiting critters.
How lovely. It seems like you have everything you need! What is a pump house though? We have wells here in places not served by municipal water but the pumps are in the well casing, and do not require its own house.
The house was interesting. Actually hearing your voice was, for me, much more interesting.
I never heard your voice, which was disappoing
Loved the brief tour and hearing your voice. Would not like to maintain that lawn.
Ha ha Cro quite a refined upper class accent you have got.
I think we have different opinions of tiny.
We like your place very much and we are a bit envious.
I was wondering whether you speak french and mix with french people.
Your home is so lovely, Cro and looks like just the right size for you and Lady M. Having all that land and scenery must be a joy.
I would much rather tinker outside than clean inside.
You sound just as I thought you would
It's so pretty! And nice to hear you, too.
It contains the pump and filter for the pool that circulates the water.
Oh dear... I expect you're more used to Scottish lilts.
Yes, I do speak French, and love to do so.
I'm afraid that cleaning is not a priority. Too many spiders webs and dog hairs.
Couldn't, or did, and found it too awful?
I have a very trusty (fingers crossed) ride-on mower, so looking after it all is also fun.
I'm not sure if that's good or bad!
It's a lovely little house which we saved from certain ruin.
Ah. I get it now. How silly to have missed that.
I would have liked a tour inside the house as well. You can make another movie in the summer..featuring the pool and the barn and the fleurs with some background French music and you could speak a little French as well (I want to check out your accent :)Your English is very good.
