Another box ticked.

The terrace up at the barn is finished. The flagstones now cover the steps, as well as the large flat 4 by 6 meter area below. It makes a very pleasant area for outdoor living.

Next job is the second, larger, bathroom. The present one (downstairs) is quite small, but very pleasant. It contains just a wet-room type shower, bog and basin; all rather basic, but well done. The new one will be more 'luxurious' and complete.

Then he needs three doors to be made for upstairs, and the exterior cladding re-done.

 Softly, softly, catchee monkey.

My participation was very small.

Yes, it won't be much longer now. It's already a very comfortable home, but with one or two bits that need finishing.

Looking good. Now all they need is a bit of sunshine so they sit out there and enjoy it. Personally I would have finished that luxurious bathroom first

I would have done the bigger one first too. I think our sunshine has now gone for a week or so, I see that 'light rain' (drizzle) is forecast.

That ties in nicely with the steps now.

That is a nice sized patio

They're all done in the same flags. It looks very nice.

Plenty of room to swing a cat.

Nicely done. That second bathroom will be a wonderful addition.

And much closer to the bedrooms. The smaller one is downstairs.

Everything looks really beautiful.

I think it looks 'right'. The previous concrete surface wasn't well enough done to have been left as it was.

The large patio is beautiful and the wide steps make a nice entry to the space. I am partial to natural stone. Designing a lux bathroom suite will be greatly enjoyed.

Lovely flagstone. It will be wonderful when all is done.

A wide sweeping entrance makes a big difference. I don't like 'mean'; I've seen it ruin many homes and gardens.

It's been a fun project.
