At first I was willing to give him the benefit of doubt, but he seems to be getting worse and worse. As for his policies, we never hear anything; just news of his buffoonery.
In the course of the last two days Macron has complained about the France/China trade imbalance and now Merkel has cut her commitment to climate change. So all in all they are following the lead of Donald Trump. But don't expect the fake media to acknowledge any of that.
"Germany’s would-be coalition partners have agreed to drop plans to lower carbon dioxide emissions by 40 percent from 1990 levels by 2020, sources familiar with negotiations said on Monday -- a potential embarrassment for Chancellor Angela Merkel."
That is an old picture. Every day he does something embarrassing and/or frightening that overlaps what he did the day before. We wake up to “what now” and many of us have Trump PTSD.
Oprah is beloved and very smart, too smart to run for office. Right now, much of America is looking for a leader who has values and her speech the other night was what they wanted to hear. She inspired us and we needed that, but we need more than words. However, she was a bigger story than Trump yesterday and that was a good thing.
Oh, if only he wasn't our president! I keep saying that to my husband and thinking it to myself. It's been over a year and I'm still in denial. What must the world think of us!?! Well, let me tell you there are many, like me, that are horrified by his every move.

Optimistic Cro!
The difference between an optimist and a pessimist, is that the optimist enjoys himself whilst waiting for the inevitable! I AM that optimist!
This is a daily, optimistic, 'photos and comments' blog. I make no judgements (only occasionally), just notes. If you wish to comment in any way at all, please feel free. Everything and everyone (except the obdurate and dictatorial) is very welcome.
I was born just south of London, but for the past 50 years I've lived in S W France. I am a painter by profession, and writer by desire. Lady Magnon and I live between an ancient cottage in a tiny village in perfectly tranquil French countryside, and a bijou townhouse in Brighton UK. In France we have plenty of fruit trees, all situated amongst a view that takes the breath away, in the UK we have a handkerchief sized patio. We also have a Border Collie called Billy. I try to treat our planet with respect, and encourage others to do likewise (without preaching).
Contentment is a glass of red, a plate of charcuterie, and a slice of good country bread. Perfect!
And this is the guy who has the biggest red button.
ReplyDeleteBut never the biggest red face. I now hear that Oprah Winfrey could stand against him at the next election. TV rules the USA.
DeleteHe's a COMPLETE MORON.....I did NOT vote for him..I hope he drops dead soon.....
ReplyDeleteAt first I was willing to give him the benefit of doubt, but he seems to be getting worse and worse. As for his policies, we never hear anything; just news of his buffoonery.
DeleteLOL....You sound like an Aussie!
DeleteIs it real or fake?...
ReplyDeleteVery real; as real as real can be.
DeleteIn the course of the last two days Macron has complained about the France/China trade imbalance and now Merkel has cut her commitment to climate change. So all in all they are following the lead of Donald Trump. But don't expect the fake media to acknowledge any of that.

There is bound to be a Fr/Chinese trade imbalance. China is far bigger, and produces for more.
DeleteI despair....
ReplyDeleteIs there anyone who doesn't?
DeleteHe's definitely lost it....if he ever 'had it's!
ReplyDeleteI wonder how long he'll last?
DeleteWhat a moron. I can't see a picture of this buffoon without having a seriously sweary rant.
ReplyDeleteI think your rant is seriously warranted.
DeleteWords fail me ...... !!!!!!! XXXX
ReplyDeleteDitto.

Between Hollywood and all your TV stations, you have a wonderful selection of would-be politicians.
DeleteLincoln would never get elected today.
DeleteIsn't this a class thing? I seem to remember the Queen having a similar difficulty with Auld Lang Syne a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteHM The Queen doesn't normally allow people to touch her!
DeleteOh. Dear. God.
ReplyDeletePray for him!
DeleteA picture says a thousand words.
ReplyDeleteIn his case, even more!
DeleteHe thought it was the Hokey Pokey and was just waiting to turn himself around. At leastthat's what his advisors told him. So it's not his fault. Ever.
ReplyDeletePlenty of Hokey Pokey at the White House these days; and it's never his fault.
DeleteHe is probably think, "we are here to do business not play games", grow the fuck up.
