The bull in question probably only weighed as much as a London Bus at the time; now he weighs at least as much as two.
His temper hasn't improved with age, and I wouldn't now be quite as foolhardy.
If I was to find him outside our kitchen door these days, I'd run for the bloody hills; not that we have any hills!

Do all matadors use tea towels?
In my house they do!
You're not wearing your coat with the shiny lights !
I wonder why it has to be red always.
I hope you're a fast runner!
How much red had you consumed?
I was still saving-up for it.
I think it's just tradition; any colour would do, one is simply attracting the bull's attention.
I was then; not so much now!
Probably too much.
Olé ..... corrida de toros !! ..... the red gingham tea towel sort of lets it down but your beret makes up for it !! XXXX
My ordinary cape was at the cleaners.
I would class this as the application of Darwin's Law....
survival of the fittest... and that bull looks mighty fit!!
Were you trying for a Darwin Award??
My exact thoughts at the time were *($$£***))&""!
I think your 'cred' disappeared with the pink tea towel Cro.
I can see that little electric fence - you don't fool me...
Bugger!
There was, in fact, a thin plastic tape between he and me. Nothing that would stop the mighty roar of Lumberjack's Bull.
I bet that seemed like a good idea at the time.
There wasn't much else to do with him.
Sorry somebody pointed out that tape and here was me thinking you were in training to be a matador.
The bull is actually standing much further away than everybody here thinks.
Shut up, you spoil sport!
I was Weave; honest!
I did wait until late in the day..
Even with electric fencing, i'd not have done that. But, I must admit, i'm on the wuss side of such things.
Matadors would look better if they traded in their silly-looking little hats for a more dapper-looking beret. I'm afraid the pink and white tea towel doesn't quite cut it, though. :)
Actually, he was very close, but he's as mild as they come (mostly).
I'll write to the matador's union, and see if they'll adopt berets!
You and Lady Magnon too.
LOL...inspirational pic...worthy of a poem !
