Don't you hate 'anonymous' drivel.

'I loved as much as you will obtain performed right here. The sketch is attractive, your authored material

stylish. nonetheless, you command get bought an impatience

over that you would like be handing over the following. sick indisputably come further until now again

since precisely the same just about a lot frequently within case you shield this increase'.

Above is an example of the gobbledygook we all experience from time to time. I've removed its silly 'link', as I refuse to give its author any publicity.
Google, I believe, is at last going to do something about some of the nastier porn on its pages, so why can't they also stop these very stupid anonymous comments that occasionally appear.

If you're going to butt-in to someone's comment page, at least do it so that it's comprehensible, and relevant. This sort of garbled tripe, above, is just pointless.

I have, of course, now disabled all 'anonymous' comments!

    1. Click 'design' top right. Click 'settings'. Click 'posts and comments'. Change setting to 'registered user'. Good luck.

  3. I was getting 100 + per day, driving me nuts. I don't want to disable Anonymous because I have a lot of genuine Anon readers who don't want to sign up for anyting. Word verification stops it for me, which I enable and disable willynilly. A few creep in when disabled, which is manageable. If you look at the timing when they come in, it's not just the odd one now and again, it's whole blocks of them saying more or less the same thing, within a few minutes of each other.

  5. I am fairly convinced that the semi illiterate employees of a large online company might be to blame because these Anonymous mails nearly always arrive when I am asleep.

  6. You have probably just deleted a comment from a well-respected performance poet, Cro.

  7. I hate "word verification", so I disabled anonymous comments and all my spam disappeared. Much better!
