Expensive 'Hunter' boots, and a big fat German soft-top sports job, means only one thing; we have guests in the house.
She of 'The Miller Collection' is with us, so I'm on my best (least worst) behaviour.
She will already be going home with ONE more painting; and if I'm very very good she might even go home with more!
An important collection of contemporary paintings is not complete without several Cro's.
"More wine Ms Miller?"
I hope she bought half a dozen Cros. The most expensive ones!
ReplyDeleteI sell best quality Cro, Madam, I give you good price...
ReplyDeleteNot TOO good.
DeleteGood to see that you are still with us Tom!! I was beginning to wonder, due to the dearth of posting on your blog. X
DeletePs Sorry Cro to hijack your blog to speak to " Hippo".
DeleteThat's OK Frances. Especially as he's just been to visit The Trelawnyd Terrier.
DeleteI hadn't read John's blog before yours….though his post might have been later…..so pleased that those 2 have met…wish I had been there too!! I would love to meet some of the folk whose blogs I read, but probably never happen.
DeleteI shall almost certainly never be in Angola, but N. Wales is a possibility !
Send her round here if she's got any money left after staying with you!

I assume that you both did well.
ReplyDeleteI hope she brought you some Marmite.
ReplyDeleteWish we could see some of the paintings.
ReplyDeleteRe your comment on my blog - do let that hare have a taste of your cabbages - he will bring you luck all year - magical animals.
ReplyDeleteI hope she bought a bunch of your work. (But not your favorites... they're nice to keep around for your own enjoyment.)
ReplyDeleteWould you send a Cro on 'spec' to my supper party and art exhibition/sale on July 26? :)
ReplyDeleteIf i come into a large windfall, i shall be contacting you for an original Cro.
