With the world as it is, it is timely to listen to this man.
Bertrand Russell was without doubt one of the world's greatest philosophers.
When I was up at my senior school, in the early 60's, I read two of his books. 'Fact and Fiction' was one, I can't remember the name of the other. They were impressively logical and informative works, and influenced my life enormously. He was so clear and precise about everything he'd researched, and it rubbed-off on the young reader (me).
Here he is, back in 1959, being as coolly logical, reasoned, and analytical as he always was. His words are as important today (if not more important) as they were then.

The 'evil doers' need to take heed of him as well as the rest of us. Some hope!
It is a shame that so few people seem able to as he suggests.
It wasn't for lack of trying. He was a great, and very wise, man.

Great words. But few are listening.
Even back in 1959 very few listened to him; but he was right.
His moral message was very simple: "Love is wise, hatred is foolish." Perhaps not what one would expect from one of the twentieth century's most revered philosophers but a credo that I for one am happy to support.

One rarely hears his name these day. He should be studied more.
I read one of his books recently, written earlier in his life, and oh so applicable to world affairs today.
He is timeless. He'll be as worthy in 100 years time (if humans are still around).
Words of wisdom. Clearly stated.
If only more people embraced these wise words. The world would be a better place.
