We probably all remember the heroic action of 14 year old Cristian Becheanu back in 2012. But it's worth reminding ourselves.
So, what became of him? He's obviously taking his heroics in his stride, as little is known about what happened to him over the past decade or more.
However, we do have this one photo of him now, with his own little boy.

Amazing......I remember the story, but never saw that film. What a brave young man.
He hasn't changed much, has he!
How many of us would have done the same?
Good on him. A bit of peace and quiet may have helped but that isn't the Italian way.
I think he's simply a reluctant hero!
Thank you for reminding of this act of courage and kindness. All those voices and all that confusion before Cristian descended - they did not make it easy for him.

He was a brave young boy. Such a hero.
I hope he is having a good life.
