He always looked a bit of a plonker in his schoolboy outfit, but he wrote some very good songs. Here's one that most will remember.

DeleteHe was such a brilliant writer, all of his songs tell a story unlike some of the rubbish you get these days.

DeleteRaymond Edward O'Sullivan is now 76 years old. This well-crafted and heartfelt song proves that he was far more than a novelty act.

DeleteI've never liked this song, I always thought if he doesn't want to be alone, then get out and meet people. I don't remember any of his other songs.
