Reality v The dream.



This photo was taken a couple of days ago in front of our home in France.


But this (below) is how I like to think of things. I'm fed-up with this cold weather, I want it to be Summer.

    Heard France was getting it in the neck. And not only the weather. No snow in Brighton?
    Days are getting longer. 2 months till spring??

      We had a tiny bit before Christmas (12th Dec), but none since. I'm urging those 2 months to pass as quickly as possible.

    We are in the last stretch of Winter and it is tiring. Most snow has fallen after December, just when we long for Spring. Sunshine and warm beaches sound delightful. The fix is a flight to warmer climates.

      I'm a July baby, and I think it has an effect on my intolerance of Winter. Me and Summer go hand in hand.

    Well, Cro, your video is very similar to the view I looked out on this morning - blue pool, blue sky and sunshine, except that it was precisely +3ºC! Warmed up quite a bit during the day and it's now +9ºC - positively tropical!

      And did you swim??? I never enter ours unless it reaches a minimum of 21 C.

    35C in the shade is just about what we have here in Adelaide today, 39C out of the shade, so not much difference there. If I had a pool I would be jumping in too.
