I must have originally heard this Italian song in France. Whether it reached out internationally I have no idea.
By chance I heard it again recently, but had difficulty finding it as I'd forgotten the singer's name.
If you do know the song, I'm sure you'll enjoy hearing it again. If you don't know it, I hope, like me, you find it mesmerising.

It's soothing to listen to, but not something I would choose voluntarily.
I presume you haven't heard it before. Maybe it's just nostalgia for me.
It was used in the film French Kiss, my late husband and I used to cheer and sing along every time we watched the DVD. 'Chips, chips' good memories!
I always thought it was Chips, Chips, but it's actually Cips, Cips; whatever that means!
Oh no Paolo Conte is still a wonderful singer with a great voice . I have all his Cd . Good nostalgia if ever.
