Oh My Goodness !
ReplyDeleteWhat a hoot.
cheers, parsnip
I'm glad it makes someone else laugh!
DeleteThe tar was melting on the roads yesterday so they put sand on the joins. I don't do summer barbies. I can't stand the smell of them. Somebody had a whole pig on a spit the other day. I confess I used to enjoy baked potatoes from the ashes on Guy Fawkes night.
ReplyDeleteWe had BBQ'd Lamb last night; I can hardly think of a better meal. I kept the flames to a minimum.
DeleteHate barbies. Love jacket potatoes.
ReplyDeleteAdore Men Behaving Badly.
How can you hate barbies? There's nothing nicer than the smell of burnt sausages!
DeleteIt is a funny clip. I used to really like the show. Who would have thought Clunes would go on to become a grumpy doctor.
ReplyDeleteHe was well cast though.
DeleteI love it, that clip. Laughed out loud. I also love to cook my meat on BBQ and do so two or three times a week.
ReplyDeleteIt makes me laugh every time I see it.
DeleteMartin Clunes looks so young!
ReplyDeleteAnd, yet, it only dates from about 1992. He's aged quickly.
DeleteWe're using an, outside, electric, grill at the moment. It's very dry around us and we're worried about sparks. Not to mention any sign f bbq smoke will probably bring the fire brigade
ReplyDeleteGreat sketch
I stick to flame (rather like above).
Delete🤣🤣😂😂🤣........ they were so good together. XXXX
ReplyDeleteIt was a very funny show; we need more like it.
DeleteI had forgotten how funny that show was back in the day. That made me laugh out loud too. I have been a lurker for a long time but haven't made a comment and that made me laugh so much I just had to give in and show myself.
ReplyDeleteGood. We must have a similar sense of humour.
DeleteI have just watched a third time while showing my husband. What really gets to me is at the end when Martin Clunes says in such a dead pan way "What Tony is doing now is ...." just as he proceeds to knock the fence out. So So funny!
DeleteI wonder how many 'takes' it needed?
DeleteMy husband is usually the grill master. I will show him this clip tonight!
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
He'll recognise the scene, I'm sure.
DeleteWe love barbecue but don’t do it as often as in the past. However, we passed down the barbecue gene to our children who have all kinds of equipment (smokers, gas, and briquettes) for all kinds of tastes.
ReplyDeleteI enjoy anything Martin Clunes does. I miss Doc Martin.
The French made their own version of Doc Martin; it was rubbish!
DeleteI shall be manhandling the BBQ again tonight. Pork chops.
I hadn't seen it before. I laughed and laughed.
