In an old post I bemoaned the much maligned phenomenon of the dinner party.
It still exists I guess, outside the old formalities, but now it’s called ...

A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
Happy Easter to you, Lady M and lovely family.
ReplyDeleteGreetings Maria x
Thank you Maria. We're hoping for a quiet, sunny, day. Best wishes, Cro xx
DeleteTiny bit of blue sky here this morning Cro - so I am hoping that your weather eventually drifts over this way.
ReplyDeleteThat guitar playing does absolutely nothing for my confidence in the ukulele! It was brilliant and looked so effotless - but of course wasn't - it involved hours and hours of work.
I'm sure your mastering of the Uke' will soon be to Bucky standard! Sunny here today; I'm re-organising my compost heap!!!
DeleteHappy Easter to you and enjoy your week.
ReplyDeleteAnd a very busy week it'll be too. All my winter tasks have to be finished, and spring tasks undertaken. As I said to Weave; today is compost heap day.
DeleteIt wasn't the garden I was thinking about. Never mind.
Deleteseul á la maison.
DeleteI'm wondering how you knew? The 'Dancing Girls' arrive Wednesday morning.
DeleteHappy, happy Easter to you and Lady M ..... what’s on the menu ?!!!! 🍴XXXX
ReplyDeleteRoast Turkey! I always buy two at Christmas; one of which goes into the freezer for Easter. 4.5 kilos of deliciousness; I love the smell of roasting Turkey.
DeleteHappy Easter Cro and Lady M x
ReplyDeleteThank you Sue. Nice here today; tea outdoors this afternoon!
DeleteI will savour it or not tomorrow in the cold harsh of day.
ReplyDeleteBetter with an evening glass of rouge methinks.
DeleteGreat turkey eating. We've got a week of veges and then fatty goat.
ReplyDeleteIt's roasting now; lovely aroma about the house.
DeleteThey do indeed make it look easy...wonderful stuff. Happy Easter to both of you Cro x
ReplyDeleteIt's been very good so far, lovely sunshine here.
DeleteJust spent the morning/afternoon dozing on the beach at Worbarrow Bay, now checking blogs and this comes up. Nice one Cro!
ReplyDeleteGlad you liked it. Just good, well played, music.
DeleteAwesome, beautiful music! I loved it. I'm trying to give my lawn it's first mowing this year & it's kicking my ass! I'm on my 3rd day and still have only done 1/4 of the front. I have a self-propelled push mower, but it's still rough. My bad hip/knee/back are screaming with pain. I've tried to find a reasonably priced mower service to no avail. I'm poor as a church mouse since husband got on meth & flew the coop. Then the hot water heater went out & I can't light it. I bruised my knees trying. I have to laugh because I feel like Job. What next?! Happy Easter, Cro. Your song cheered me greatly! xo
ReplyDeleteI very nearly gave all my grass a SECOND mowing yesterday, but my wife stopped me; she thought I was overdoing things. If the weather is OK, I'll do it today. There's a lot to do!
DeleteI saw his kid, John, perform once upon a time. Talented family.
ReplyDeleteThey sure are; I'd love to be able to play just a fraction as well.
DeleteNew names for me; really enjoyed their performance. Are you familiar with Bireli Lagrene and Sylvain Luc? They do a lovely guitar duet of "Isn't She Lovely? on Youtube".

Just had a look. Amazing stuff. I hadn't heard of them, but there are loads of great musicians I've never heard of.
