Ouch.....I can feel that! When I was a kid, we were playing " pod" and I was running towards the "pod post" and tripped and threw myself head first at the rather solid metal pole . I had a lump like that. It didn't properly disappear for many years. I don't think I went to hospital....probably the vinegar and brown paper!
Ouch !!! Poor Finn. I can remember our son walking into a door frame and immediately, that egg came up on his forehead with that black line ..... you could see it grow !! All part of being s boy !!! XXXX
He bumped his knees against his forehead ? Well he will survive, put a smile on your face little Finn. It's just an egg and in the future.....take care.
I've heard it's better to have an outwardly swelling bump when it comes to heads. He'll have some fun watching his bruise turn different colours over the next few days! -Jenn
Ouch! After regular use of a makeshift ice pack for weeks, I am not using a makeshift heating pad to aid the final disappearing act of the tiny remaining bump on my own forehead.

Optimistic Cro!
The difference between an optimist and a pessimist, is that the optimist enjoys himself whilst waiting for the inevitable! I AM that optimist!
This is a daily, optimistic, 'photos and comments' blog. I make no judgements (only occasionally), just notes. If you wish to comment in any way at all, please feel free. Everything and everyone (except the obdurate and dictatorial) is very welcome.
I was born just south of London, but for the past 50 years I've lived in S W France. I am a painter by profession, and writer by desire. Lady Magnon and I live between an ancient cottage in a tiny village in perfectly tranquil French countryside, and a bijou townhouse in Brighton UK. In France we have plenty of fruit trees, all situated amongst a view that takes the breath away, in the UK we have a handkerchief sized patio. We also have a Border Collie called Billy. I try to treat our planet with respect, and encourage others to do likewise (without preaching).
Contentment is a glass of red, a plate of charcuterie, and a slice of good country bread. Perfect!
Poor guy. That looks painful.
ReplyDeleteHow is the new baby doing?
The baby is beautiful (of course), and looks much like his older brother. Still no name!
DeleteNot a very happy lad.
ReplyDeleteI spoke to him yesterday. He's OK now.
DeleteHell, that looks painful! Did he get a few days off school at least?
ReplyDeleteHe's off school at the moment. He did get to ride in an ambulance though!
DeleteGosh bet he felt that. Haven't seen one like that for years...actually since my own son at about the same age had one in the same spot!
ReplyDeleteDid he get a concussion? He fell hard; I'm glad he's okay.
ReplyDeleteNow that is one hell of a bump, and I hope it heals soon.
ReplyDeleteBoys will be boys.

ReplyDeleteI always worry people will break their necks with a back flip. No thanks!

ReplyDeleteI am always so afraid of those things .

ReplyDeleteOw..poor chap. Hope it heals soon.Having had a son, I remember those days of bumps and black eyes well!

Ouf! That's a properly impressive egg! He'll remember it with pride, I've no doubt.

ReplyDeleteWow, that would have hurt! Poor thing. But what a beautiful face. Good genes will do that.
ReplyDeleteOuf! I suspect he was slightly concussed too.
ReplyDeleteStars were circling his head.
DeleteI hope he learned a lesson, but I bet that won't be his last flip.

ReplyDeleteHoping your sweet grandson will heal quickly. xo
Oh! That's quite a goose egg! Poor kiddo.
