1. Bacon sandwich (made with English sliced white bread, and lots of bacon)
2. Chips
3. Roasted Chicken
4. Perfectly ripe Avocado
5. Mango
6. Pork scratchings
7. Tomatoes (outdoor, sun-ripened)
8. Smoked Salmon
9. Duck confit
10. Maynards wine gums (especially the green or black ones)
10½. Pasta (I almost forgot; thank you Jacqueline)
This should, of course, be Cro's 100 favourites, but the task was reducing it down to just 10 (without being pretentious).

Yup, I could go along with that list but only black wine gums please.
Remove 5, 6 and 9 and I'd agree.
Mangoes for me. I've been to south Africa several times and eaten them ripe off the tree - a messy "finger-dripping" business but, the flavour, just heaven! Greetings Maria x
That bacon sandwich looks like heaven !
I'm proud to say that I represented my firm, when I was an aspiring stockbroker, in the annual inter-firm Stock Exchange Wine Gum Competition. We were blindfolded, and had to tell the flavour of 10 different sweets. I didn't win, but I did quite well.
No confit? Shame on you!
A perfectly ripe Mango is pure heaven, and damn the mess.
Who can resist a bacon sandwich, even the most senior Rabbi treats him/her self on occasions.
Yep some of mine are in that list too. How about a perfectly cooked fried egg to go with those chips? x
A fried egg would certainly come somewhere between No 11 and No 100.
I am wondering just how you get your mouth around that sandwich. Bacon sandwiches would certainly come near the top of my list along with cheese on toast and bananas.
Oh yes, and having read lovelygrey above, I adore egg and chips with lots of salt and vinegar. And what about hot buttered crumpets ?
I have just made a list of my 10 most hated and 10 most loved. My bacon sandwiches, smoked back bacon, are delicately served on white bread (of course) with tomato ketchup. I go along with most of your list except Pasta which is I believe related to the rubber tree.
Wow....apart from number 8 we could be food brothers. I want that particular bacon sandwich by the way.
Haha .... don't ever forget the pasta Cro !!
I love all of your choices but I have to have more fish on my list ...... sea bass is a favourite but, the best meal I ever had was in France and it was Turbot.... that's top of my list and, equally as good, fried egg and chips ..... from the sublime to the ridiculous !!!! XXXX
Bacon, with added bacon!
Top 10 is not big enough; I need to add a codicil.
Pasta is the food of the (Italian) gods. I'm surprised at you!
Lady M would never let me forget pasta; she demanded it for tonight.
Made this last night 4 ingredients! My new favorite.

That bacon sandwich looks like a heart attack waiting to happen.
That looks delicious. Lady M has ordered a simply spaghetti with pesto for this evening, otherwise I would have tried it. Another day!
But what a wonderful heart attack.
Ther is nothing that i don't like in that list.
Sounds like a good list to me. We had BLT's yesterday, that's a bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich, nice thick smoked bacon.
I just may have to make myself a bacon sandwich any minute now!
You have good taste Yael.
Gorgeous!
I think I might have to have one for breakfast tomorrow morning.
I just had to make myself one for lunch today.
That does look delicious ..... I might just make that in a minute ..... so simple but so moorish. XXXX
My present husband was vegetarian when we met. I cured him with a bacon sandwich.....mine. His was a fried egg sandwich and he was envious....
Most veggies can be cured with a bacon sandwich. And how many of them secretly have one for lunch when no-one's looking!
Do you get bacon in France Cro, that lovely crunching type when fried with eggs? We do not find it here. Only Lidl has it but it does not get as "crunchy" as I remember eating it. x
Yes we do. I also make my own, which is very simple.
