Both Monty and Freddie prefer to drink directly from the tap (Faucet, US. Force it; geddit?).

They are the same the world over. Our cats do that when given the chance.
ReplyDeleteHow do they turn the taps on and off?
ReplyDeleteThey've been trained by an expert.
ReplyDeleteDon't you mean xspurt.
ReplyDeleteWater terrible pun.
ReplyDeleteAgreed, absolutely awful!
ReplyDeleteWater way to start a blog post...
Come off it chaps... that's enough pun-ishment.
ReplyDeleteThey are adorable and like you said, why force it? I've definitely started my day off with a smile. Merci.
ReplyDeleteSam
my grand-cat Hank plays this same game...stalking the kitchen tap until you turn it on, then jumping away when she has convinced you she needed a drink but doesn't...only to return the second the water is turned off...repeat, repeat, repeat...(and I do...sigh).
ReplyDeleteJacqueline, you have a grand-cat???
ReplyDeleteall I could think was...
ReplyDelete"what a clean sink"
Doesn't everyone have grand cats, we have two - consolation prize for no grand kids!
ReplyDeleteI don't think of Hanky-pants (or my grand-puppy Daisy) as consolations at all Rabby...babysitting is a lot easier!
ReplyDeleteThey all do it. It's SO much fresher straight from the tap.
ReplyDeletefunny you should bring this up....Mr. Buttercup plays the same game..."oh, I'm dying of thirst he says" even though there's a bowl of fresh water down.shower, sink,MY glass of water, even around my mouth! We love them!Linda
ReplyDeleteHow funny,it must be a circus there at times!
ReplyDeleteDon't you know by now--they are the masters, you are the pet.
ReplyDeletePerhaps you could offer them a glass?
ReplyDeleteOur Ralphy used to love the same thing!
ReplyDeleteBut can they bathe themselves without help ? Hmmmmm ? OK, besides the cat.
ReplyDeleteThey know something we don't!
ReplyDeleteHa! This is fantastic. My pets do the same exact thing! I really enjoy your blog!
