The video is a tad pretentious (they mostly are), but the song is excellent.
People who don't know the name Lindsey Buckingham may remember him as the lead guitarist with Fleetwood Mac. I think I prefer him as a solo artist.
A diverse offering twixt the interesting, the unusual, and the amusing.
With Stevie Nix, he brought a lot of creative energy to Fleetwood Mac - improving their distinctive sound. He's 72 now.
ReplyDeleteI have an album by him... all the numbers are good.
DeleteI remember the song, but didn't know who sang it. Was it done by anyone else?
ReplyDeleteIt's a very good song, but if it's been covered by others, I have no idea. Somehow I doubt it.
DeleteLove a bit of Fleetwood Mac. I loved them best in their early days before Stevie Nicks joined them.{ although, I've nothing against Stevie Nicks } Saw them live in the very late 60's, performing in a pub ! XXXX
ReplyDeleteThe only really good band I saw performing in a pub was the Bonzo Dog Doo-dah Band; they were amazing.
DeleteNot my sort of thing but the video is a work of art.
ReplyDeleteNot big in Auchtermuchty!!
DeleteAll accordions here.
DeleteFleetwood Mac, very memorable. LB is a talent entirely on his own. Nice song, beat and harmony...good dance music too.
ReplyDeleteHe's a good all-round singer/musician.
DeleteThe second I saw his name I thought Fleetwood Mac and of course my favorite Stevie Nicks
ReplyDeleteThey were a great combo, with several class acts over the years.
DeleteAw swoon...you have a knack of delighting me with attractive men Cro!
