I'm not big on Royal souvenirs, but I'd rather like one of these.
I believe that these beautiful commemorative souvenirs come from Brazil, and were made to celebrate 'Hary and Megan's' wedding, which I believe was held on the same day as Harry and Meghan's.
Those portraits are uncanny; doppelgangers at their best. I really want one.
These are awesome. The artist is very talented and one likes to think that the real Hary and Megan would enjoy entertaining at their castle with these too.
ReplyDeleteJulie Q
I'm sure they'll order a set; for special occasions!
DeleteYe god's and little fishes. Hairy looks just like his father.
ReplyDeleteImagine that hanging on your wall ...
I'd rather imagine it with Beans on Toast on it. Just think of the laughter when down to your final Bean.
DeleteShe looks so life like it is uncanny.
ReplyDeleteCaptured her perfectly!
DeleteOh Cro ..... I NEED the whole dinner service !!!!
ReplyDeleteMind you, how brilliant would it be to bring those plates out when people came to dinner !!!! It would be worth wasting the money just to see friends reactions !!! XXXX
They must have been designed by Cecilia Giménez, the lady who beautifully re-painted the 'Ecce Homo' in Spain.
DeleteI remember it .... talented beyond measure ! XXXX
DeleteWhere's respect when it's needed? Ouch. I just bit the tongue in my cheek.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure, but I think these were supposed to be serious. Although...
DeletePlease can you send me the address to order a set? My husband's paint-mixing tray is broken and I'd like to surprise him with a replacement.
ReplyDeleteYou can order them at ....
DeleteYe Olde Potteree, Bedlam, Brazil.
I want one too.
ReplyDeleteA Royalist's dream.
DeleteThey probably already own a set - caricatures are often so lifelike somehow - even without the name round the edge everyone would immediately know who they were wouldn't they?
ReplyDeleteIn this case I'm not sure if it's an advantage to be recognised.
DeleteThis has really made me smile!
ReplyDeleteIt certainly made me laugh!
DeleteA thing of nightmares.
ReplyDeleteThe plate, or the people?
DeleteSmashing looking couple.
ReplyDeletePerfect for a Greek Restaurant!
