Here's a picture to warm your hearts (not as much as this little guy's, I hope).
Just look at this nice Australian fire-fighter giving water to a parched Koala after a bush fire.
Brings a lump to your throat, n'est pas?

Aaaaaaaaaah!
ReplyDeleteCredit for photo should be to The Inquisitr (yes that is spelt correctly), via The International Business Times, via The Citywebguide. I hate to leave anyone out, but I still don't have the photographer's name.
ReplyDeleteWe have special CFA volunteers trained to do that job. I rather give the Koalas a drink, tho' than the feed the inland taipans!
ReplyDeleteWell I'll be dag-nabbed!
ReplyDeleteIndeed, the cutest thing I've beheld all day.
Nice to know some people care
ReplyDeleteSo Cute, they're holding hands.
ReplyDeleteTotal trust between man and beast!
DeleteWhich one did you say was the big soft Teddy Bear, the one on the left or the right? It's hard to tell them apart ...
ReplyDeleteI saw this photo a whole back and posted it... the koala survived with burns!
ReplyDeleteI've only just seen it, and imagined it was new. Ne'er mind.
DeleteAnother one of the good guys Cro.
ReplyDeleteJe suis d'accord. If my French is at fault blame babel fish.
ReplyDeleteGood to know that the little guy survived. Due in no small part to orange man I'm sure.
Lump in my throat, yes siree!
ReplyDeleteThey know when someone has a truly kind heart. In all my years of animal rescue I have never been bitten even in the most desperate of times.
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm still rescuing bees and wasps from our pool with my bare hands, and have yet to be stung!
DeleteI'm going to bed. Perchance to sleep, perchance to dream. It's so bloody HOT!
DeleteAwwwwwwww!!! ANd thank you for rescuing bees and wasps!
