Gosh, time is flying by; in 3 weeks we'll be in 2024.
With grandsons everywhere, and people on the move from country to country, I hardly have time to sit and ponder. They are all so energetic, yet unhurried. They eat in restaurants, go to the gym, boogie all night, and take everything in their stride. It makes me dizzy even thinking about it.
Anyway, after a family emergency yesterday, it's great to wake-up every morning, and what better way to do so than with this song.

No, but they might do that from now on.
They're away in Paris at the moment. It won't be long before they head back to Oz, then we'll miss them terribly.
I think it feels faster, as we divide our time between here and France.

I must have seen ' Singing in the Rain ' a zillion times .... I pretty much know it off by heart. As a child I loved the bit when they tip the sofa over !!! They are all so good but I always loved Donald O'Connor. His ' Make 'Em Laugh " is amazing. I was very disappointed with Julian Fellowes. second Downton Abbey feature film ..... he plagiarised ' Singing in the Rain !!! XXXX
I've only seen the original. Yes, I love that sofa tipping scene too. I'm sure I tried it at home.

It's not me, just everyone around me. It makes me feel old. Billy is fine. he and I have been on 4 walks today. I've taken over the whole task for the moment.
Wasn't that nice! It makes you feel alive.
Did you know they had to make that entire sofa tipping scene in one take!
If I had stayed up all night talking as they supposedly did there's no way I could be cheerfully singing and dancing like they are.
I'm often amazed by some of the Fred Astaire routines that were all in one continuous take. Who could do that these days!
