I wish they would change it. Land of Hope and Glory (lyrics changed) would be so much better. Even The Dam busters March or Squadron 633 stirs more in me than our current dirge of a tune. Also, I can't sing it because I don't believe or support the words I'm singing.
I don't mind our National Anthem .... I must be the only one !!!! At least it's short unlike many others that go on & on & on & on & on ........,. XXXX
I do LOVE Land of Hope and Glory and, when we go to the Albert Hall for the Classical Spectacular, I love singing it ..... shivers down the spine stuff !! XXXX
I'm just not sure what I think. After reading all the comments above I really have thought about it. I wouldn't like it changed for Land of Hope and Glory but maybe the words of our present one are a bit archaic.
Personally I wouldn't want to change our present National Anthem, but I'd like to see more use of Land of Hope-n-Glory at sporting events as our national supporters song.

I've always thought of Land of Hope etc as a much better choice. Of course the WI would probably want Jerusalem.
Wales has the world's best national anthem.
I wonder what Boris thought of that ? He could play it better on his bicycle spokes !

I'm so used to it, I don't really think about it; but given a choice I think I'd go for Land of Hope etc. It's a stirring tune.

Hilarious, sounds like a band doing their warm up exercises. I love the National Anthem and I also love our Royal Family.

Wrong key, wrong notes. Just about everything wrong.
I think they had the music upside-down.
It's just so slow, even when it's played properly.

I hate to be picky but our national anthem actually has (now) 4 verses and is hardly short.
