  1. Thanks Cro. - that should brighten most people's Monday morning. Hope that it will cheer Rachel up too - she was in what might be called "a right strop" on her last blog !

    1. She alternates from strop to meditative. I forgive her, as I rather enjoy both sides. It's just that bloody football....

    1. Nor me, Frances. That's why I posted it. No doubt there are lots of little gems out there; hidden away.

  3. That was fun, Cro. And I apologize for sounding off on your previous post. I should probably reserve such sarcasm for my own blog. Anyway, I am enjoying getting to know your world.

    1. Stormy here. Just had very strong wind and hail. Lost power for a while. I need a laugh or two!

    2. We had that last night, hail and all. It is finally cold here but the sun is shinning and that is a good thing.

  5. We need something to laugh at to take our minds off the grim weather.

  6. Thank you for that. I love Spike Milligan -- a good tonic for the miserable and depressing weather...

  7. Cro - I can never get on to your videos, I always end up after a short time on a BT video advert or something.

  8. I am Irish/French and feel this video portrays my people in a bad light. For one thing, we wouldn't use stairs to go over the pole in the pole-vault. We'd use an elevator. That way we can still read our book without losing our place. Otherwise, I enjoyed it.

  9. One of the great comedians. But then The Goon Show was one of the most inspired of radio programmes.
